Record Press Play is owned and operated by chief engineer Tom Harling, a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill jazz program. Tom has been recording and producing music for over 15 years. He began his recording journey as a singer/guitarist and knows what it’s like to be on the other side of the glass as a performer. He advanced his skills in the craft of recording while studying under Andrew Scheps (Adele, Red Hot Chili Peppers) at the Mix With the Masters program in Avignon, France. Tom has a great passion for capturing sounds in the analog domain, and uses the many pieces of gear in the studio to get your sound perfect before it even goes into the computer.
